It’s the worst commercial. I have to mute the TV when it comes on. I don’t need some guy yelling in my home…If I had enjoyed that, I’d kept my husband.
This commercial is so bad that I Googled it to see where I could complain. For the “Easy Button” people, Staple’s website was difficult to navigate.
I won’t shop there again.

Funny, every time I walk into that store I have the exact opinion as the guy in the commercial. However, if I walk through Staples shouting “Wow! Thats a high price!” I’m sure I’d probably get thrown out.

This is the most insulting, ridiculous commercial I have ever seen. It just about makes me sick to see that yucky man yell those words. I am boycotting Staples until that stupid man is gone. I cannot go into that store without thinking about how repulsive he is. We change the channel when he comes on. Bye bye Staples. Hello Office Depot.

I have email the following to Staple. Will every one please send them how you feel about this horrible and annoying commercial and STOP SHOPPING THERE.
There are commercials that grab ones attention through beauty, shock, humor and various other means.
Non have annoyed my friends and I as much as Staples WOW ad. The AAMCO beep beep almost made me write to them many years ago, because when I first started driving and heard it, it scared me because I though I was being honked by another car on the road.
I have been a customer since the first Staple store in Boston when I went to BC. I even had some Staple stock. I have to say your marketing VP and ad agency have created one of the most annoying commercial that can damage your image and brand.
The WOW guy grabbed my attention but leaves me in such a negative mood afterward. I can only describe it by requesting you to imagine your VP and ad agency making a sequel where the same guy standing in front of Staples trademark color, logo, store, screams WOW and just pukes on the floor. Then the camera zoom in on the mess on his mouth and then pan wide down to the mess on the floor in front Staples color/trademark.
Really, it is getting that revolting to me every time the commercial airs and if I am not fast enough or unable to change the channel, and forced to hear and see that WOW guy. To make me feel better, I have to imagine the Office Depot blue for some peace and tranquility.
I no longer can go near your store until the ad goes off air, and then how every long it take me to forget the foul odor of this ad.

This is the first time I have ever commented in any medium about a commercial, but this is SOOOOOO BAD, I could not resist. Every time this comes on, I make a point to change the channel, hoping that whoever fills up commercial time will notice a drop in viewers every time this commercial airs. This is even worse than that bulls**t Denny’s commercial with that “stereotypical blue collar guy” trying to impersonate Dan Akroyd, talking about Chinos, and the other one about the dollar store. These commercials are so annoying they very much make me not want to email their respective corporations just to talk s**t to them. Who is the ad-wizard that comes up with this garbage?

My home is a nice and pleasant place to be and even my kids are quieter than those guys. It took me years to get the kids to learn to talk in a calm and cool fashion. Then occasionally when this commercial comes on and every nerve-ending in my body reacts in such a negative way. NO ONE WANTS YELLING IN THEIR HOME. I hate this commercial and I dont want it playing on my TV.

Please post an e-mail addy to where staples can be reached. I hate this commercial and like more then half of you I googled this to try and find away to make my hatred known. I write copy for various people and If I passed off this garbage I’d never work again. Imagine how that looked in print “WoW thats a low price” Read over the top. This ad campaign is absolutely horrible. I have to change the channel every time it comes on. Staples used to have some of the best commercials a number of years ago. Anyone remember the Robot who was in love with the printer? That was a great commercial.
How about the father who is joyously riding on the cart during the Back to School sale and the song “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” plays. Now that is funny!

wow that’s the stupidest commercial I have ever seen that commercial must’ve been approved after a long lunch of drinking and smoking dope because of that commercial I will go to Office Depot even though it is an extra 2 miles away even if you claim of low prices are true it’s not more than a few pennies I would rather spend more and drive further than doing business with your organization if management could approve something so moronic how can your company be trusted to have good prices perhaps people who are pricing their products are on stronger medication than the people who approved the commercial

As an television ad sales executive for more than 15 years, I am generally reluctant to criticize tv spots from which I derive my income. However, I cannot contain my loathing for this annoying CM. Did they even run this past a focus group?! Was the Director of Marketing on the client side out sick during the review process? I cannot fathom how multi-million dollar talent on both the client and agency side permitted such drivel!

Just saw this on TV again. I hate it sooo much. It makes me hate Staples for bringing an annoying loud idiot into my living room. They clearly don’t respect their customers if they think coming into their house and yelling at them is the best way to associate staples with low prices. Plus since their prices aren’t that low, they are also lying to you at the top of their lungs. I don’t see how anyone finds this funny except Staples’ competitors who must be laughing all the way to the bank.

my lord is this commercial irritating. It’s one of those rare commercials that both force me to change the channel, and also leaves a basal level of pissedoffness inside me. Not only does is it bad for staples b/c I don’t wanna shop there, but it’s also bad for networks b/c the ad forces me to change the channel, and I may just forget or choose not to go back!

Whenever it comes on my T.V., I can’t get to my remote control FAST enough to MUTE it!!!! Actually this commercial is so funny, I have rewound it on my DVR and watched it many times. My wife hates it. As does my daughter. but my son and I love it! I especially like the ‘part 2′ of the ad, where one guy yells out, and a second one asks him in a normal voice, and then proceeds to yell out as well.
The pity is, I wish their prices were truly as low as they claim it to be.

I found this site by googling “hate staples commercial.” I am glad to see so many other people hate this commercial. I refuse to go to Staples now. Rarely does a commercial inspire such rage as this one. It’s just so stupid and so annoying. The recent poster that said he thinks this commercial is funny has some serious problems.

Staples Business Depot is the email address to contact Staples about their stupid, irritating, horrible commercial. I strongly urge everyone, everyone to contact Staples and tell them, as I did, that I will not buy one thing from Staples, as long as that ad is running.

Two commercials that have aired in recent months really make me sick. The Staples shouting moron commercial and the Progressive Insurance series featuring that idiot woman with the clown-mouth lipstick. The mute button on my remote has never been used more.
